Kinetic Op-Art or Kinetic Paper Craft Recently I have started a new series of paper craft. If you are familiar with this website, you would know that one of my major interests in art is kinetic art and specifically kinetic sculpture. This is an attempt to combine my newly found interest in paper crafts with my love of kinetic sculpture by animating parts of the paper pieces. With the exception of the first example below, the other three are real functioning pieces. |

| The first attempt involves rotating slowly a cut circle from the middle of a moiré design. The gif on right is an animation of the design, not a movie of the actual kinetic paper piece. |
