STREET MURALS IN PORTLAND, OREGON |

| Recently a large new mural appeared on a building in NW Portland. Seen above is the original finished mural painted by Larry Kangas (http://www.muralz.com) on the building at the corner of NW 23rd and NW Vaughn Street. It's not easy to photograph the mural because of the constant traffic on 23rd Ave, so one has to steal a moment when no cars are waiting for the traffic lights to change or the speeding cars. Also unfortunately, the electrical cables don't allow for a "clean" photograph.

| So, I decided to clean and enhance the mural with the hope that Mr. Kangas will not be angry with me. I took two side by side photographs, combined them in Photoshop and made some changes and enhancements to suit my taste. The result is shown above.
