MORPHING

Morphing is the process by which we transform gradually one picture into another and back. Here are some examples of MORPHS made mostly with traditional morphing software. The exceptions are those examples that say "True Morph" which are made from many multiple images, each slightly different from the other and shown as traditional GIF animations. In keeping with the general spirit of this website, some of the morphs presented here are in true stereoscopic 3D. Use anaglyph (red/cyan) glasses where indicated.

Morph: Human Face to Monkey Face

Yes, that's me...on the left.

Morph: Uncle Sam to Tio Sam

Morph: 3D Cube to 3D Sphere

View with Anaglyph Glasses

Made from only two images using traditional morphing software. Compare to the example below.

True Morph: 3D Cube to 3D Sphere

View with Anaglyph Glasses

Made from multiple images, each slightly incrementally different from the previous to achieve true morphing. Compare to the example above to appreciate this method.
