The LANC PRO used with a Sony dedicated flash (Sony HVL-F32X). Notice that the flash is attached to the camera with an isolated shoe made of acrylic. This insures that the only electrical connection between the flash and camera is via the cable from the flash going into the Sony port of the LANC PRO. The correct setup of the cameras is: hot shoe "Off", and internal flash "On". The LANC PRO senses the flash (or radio transmitter) and deactivates the internal flashes allowing the external flash to fire in sync. |
